Unscathed RNG Gems and Traits Guide

Choose, upgrade, and reroll Unscathed RNG Gems and Traits with a target-first plan that protects Fragments and Shards.

Gems and Traits convert Unscathed RNG progress into longer-term bonuses. Current guides describe Gems as upgradeable pieces and Traits as rerollable modifiers or conditions, with Fragments and Shards commonly associated with those systems. The developer’s public description does not provide a complete Gem or Trait catalog, so every exact slot, value, cost, currency, and roll pool must be read from the live service.

The safe order is to choose a target, improve a useful Gem, test the result, and reroll Traits only when the desired condition is clear.

Choose a Gem by activity

For broad rolling, favor a live description that applies generally to Luck, roll volume, XP, currency, or another account return. For a target element, use a Gem whose condition matches the target biome and Aura. For combat, choose a displayed effect that addresses accuracy, damage, defense, speed, or another observed failure.

Do not rank by rarity alone. A modest universal effect can outperform a larger conditional effect during ordinary sessions. Compare the condition, uptime, and resource cost.

Keep farming and combat Gems separate if the interface supports multiple loadouts. Verify the active slot before starting a valuable activity.

Upgrade before rerolling blindly

Open the upgrade panel and record the selected Gem, current level, next effect, required currency, and confirmation result. Current community guides associate Fragments with Gem levels; verify the actual symbol and amount.

Upgrade one Gem that supports a current loop. Test a rolling session or repeatable encounter before continuing. A predictable improvement provides a benchmark and keeps resources focused.

Avoid leveling every Gem evenly. Reserve materials for the target build and keep a generalist option usable after balance changes.

Reroll Traits with a named target

Inspect the current Trait, possible pool if shown, currency, lock options, and whether the result replaces the old value immediately. Current guides associate Shards with rerolls; confirm that in the current client.

Write one acceptable outcome and one stop condition before clicking. Stop when the target appears, the reserve limit is reached, or the base item no longer justifies more investment. Do not chase “perfect” without knowing the available values.

If the interface allows locking part of a result, read the added cost and confirm which fields remain fixed.

Align Gem, Trait, biome, and element

A target build is strongest when every layer applies to the same job. Confirm the Aura element, active biome, skill-tree branch, Gem condition, Trait condition, equipment, and potion. If one layer points elsewhere, fix it before spending a brief effect.

For general farming, avoid an over-specialized setup that becomes inactive outside one biome. Keep a universal fallback. For combat, swap away from pure Luck if the encounter requires survival or reliable actions.

Use Biomes and Luck for the session order.

Find the upgrade service

Community guides refer to a Gem and Trait service and sometimes name Flow. Treat the name and position as Community corroborated, then verify the menu function. Follow tutorial or quest markers and search near other progression stations.

If the menu is locked, check tutorial completion, Story progress, inventory prerequisites, and quest state. Do not spend a resource merely to test whether the service works. Use NPC Locations for a function-first route.

Recover from a poor investment

Stop spending and return to the activity benchmark. Determine whether the Gem or Trait actually improved the target. If the change is negligible, preserve remaining currency and reconsider the bottleneck.

Do not reroll again because the first result was disappointing. Randomness does not make the next attempt more justified. If a reset, removal, or transfer option exists, read its cost and permanence before using it.

Keep the old generalist piece until the specialized replacement works in practice.

Build a verified entry

Record Gem or Trait name, slot, displayed effect, condition, level, upgrade or reroll cost, source, compatible activity, checked date, and confidence. Leave values blank when the client does not show them.

Evidence status, checked 2026-08-22: Gems, Traits, Fragments, Shards, and their strategic roles are Community corroborated across current guides. Exact catalog, counts, values, slots, costs, service names, unlocks, pools, stacking behavior, and transfer rules need in-game testing.
